191 Co Bac: Eat with the locals

Lots of locals eat at this place. There is a menu in english if you don't know how to read Vietnamese. Some english is spoken here as well. Locals will sometimes ask you to have dinner with them so that they can practice their english. Just be careful if they start drinking beer as Vietnamese can drink more than you would think their bodies can hold.

Favorite Dish: Goat Breast in a wrap.

191 Co Bac: Friendly & quiet

Contrary to all the places in Pham Ngu Lao, this place is more often visited by the Vietnamese than by the westerners, which is an indication of the quality of the food. If Lien (I hope I spell her name correctly) still works there, you won't have problems communciating in English. Either way, they have an English menu.

Favorite Dish: It's never easy in Vietnam to pick a dish that's NOT good... So just give it a shot at random.
