Located at the 1F of Sheraton Hotel Ho Chi Minh along Dong Khoi street. Cheery green rattan furniture greets you along with the huge white and yellow coffee cups. :)
Smoking and non-smoking sections are allowed. Ambience is informal. I did not see any preferred attire. Guests in shorts/slip ons mingle with those wearing coats. Coat hangers and high chairs for kids are available. A funny looking sign that says "Do not handle food" is placed alongside Vietnamese wicker/wire statues.
A pho table is set across the miso/congee table which also doubles as the egg station. Tea pots/carafes are given whenever you ask for coffee or tea.
Cafe staff are quick to clear out used dishes. Sometimes, too quick since I've seen 2 guests complain of having their table cleared when they were still choosing food among the buffet spread.
We asked for brie cheese that was not readily included among the cheese board and they easily obliged.
Dinner buffet was $31 while breakfast was cheaper.
I can see this outlet doing very good as long as they work some more on the graciousness of service.
Favorite Dish: Choco danish warmed thru the special danish warmer.
Smoked salmon slices paired with optional horseradish paste and topped with capers.
Fresh pears that are really crisp and sweet.
