A friend who lives and works in HMC took us to this restaurant and it seemed to be very popular with the local population- we were the only westerners in the place!
The food was pretty good- we ordered prawns, other seafood and a chicken dish which was excellent.

This is a local chinese restaurant, one of those that don't have menu, they just show you the food they are cooking and you choose.
Don't worry about the prices. Whatever U have it will be really cheap. I had 2 full dishes and a big beer for less than 2 USD.
U will be surrounded by locals, as it is not a "Lonely Planet" restaurant...

Nearby the Ben Tay Markey, food stalls sell inexpensive meals.

Favorite Dish: We ate these rice paper rolls with shrimp and pork and spring onions, and some deepfried tofu. Both came with delicious dipping sauces.
