The Cholon Mosque in Saigon's Chinatown is representative of the city's small Malaysian and Indonesian Muslim communities. Built in 1932, the blue and white house of worship is an island of simplistic calm in this busy part of HCMC and stand in striking contrast to the more elaborate pagodas in the near vicinity.
Most Muslims in Vietnam, which comprise a very small proportion of the total population, reside in Saigon.

We did not see a single tourist while visiting, so for those who want to be far from the madding crowd, this may be just the place!
