Watch out for the Bar Girls and Prostitutes. They will steal your money as quick as look at you. Make sure that you hide it well, if you are sleeping with them hide it under the matress of the bed you are in so they cannot get it. They get up at night and go through you clothes looking for money.

For the male solo traveler in Saigon, while walking down Dong Khoi street (only place it happened to me), you might be approached by “female” cyclists asking whether or not you would like to follow them for a drink. I’ve never been approached by a 100% female driver before so ultimately, it is your decision or curiosity as to what happens for the remainder of the night.

A: Ben Thanh market has it all - you could spend hours wandering around looking at everything. It is a great place to visit - lost of local colour. Very easy to get to.
