Thing not to do - Bonsai River Cruise
I am at a loss to understand any good reviews for this cruise. I paid $36 for a "cruise" that consisted of going up and down a portion of the Saigon River where the most exciting thing was the sight of another tourist cruise boat passing. I was the first person to board the boat and as a single, I was taken to a table as far from the entertainment stage as one could get. When the couple next to me lit up cigarettes, I asked to be moved. Once again, I was taken to a table far from the entertainment right next to the bar. When a couple two tables from me lit up cigarettes, I asked the waitress if there was a non smoking section. Not only did she say there was not, she got nasty with me.
