Corn On The Cob To Go Please
Around Quy Nhon, especially along the beach front, you will find many street vendors selling anything from peanuts, to pineapple on the stick, to my favorite CORN ON THE COB. Being a midwesterner, and having a complete infatuation with starches (oh how I do love potatoes, peas, and corn), I was so stoked to find this corn on the cob vendor in Quy Nhon. Now being the big corn on the cob connesieur that I am, I must say that the corn was quite excellent, just as good as back home in Michigan. The corn was so sweet and juicy that salt and butter weren't even needed. The best part is that for 2 ears it only cost 2000 dong which converts to about 13 cents US.
- Food and Dining
Around noon in Quy Nhon, the whole town pretty much shuts down. Mainly for kids to come home from school and have their lunch and to escape the midday sun. During this time, mainly all the businesses are closed except for restaurants so this is the perfect time to catch some lunch. Everything opens back up at 2 pm.
