In can tho, most hotels have contact with Mr Triet Quang. Whenever there are new guests coming, that guy will get informed. He will jump into your hotel right way and sell a floating market tour to you. The guy speaks understanderae English. He will sell twice more expensive tour than others to you. Don't feel lucky that you get an English speaking guide. He will not take you there. Instead, there will be a person speaks no English at all for your tour.
Certainly it is quite amazing if one is lonely and needs a full attention from someone. This guy wlll be a good choice. But one must have his pocket open. One will be certainly spend more money on any deal with him. You will pay double priced money to begin your trip. He will send you to an over price food place (his own business) for lunch. You have no choice but getting robbed by him again and again. Later on, he may offer you some private car trip to Chau Doc or some place else. Then you will be robbed again and again.
This guy is ruthless and has no morality in doing business. He is one time deal person. It always reminds one rich with black nails. Avoid him by all cost. Otherwise, you will reAlize that you swolled a fly. It is very unpleasant to meet this guy. He is deceiving.
Take any tour other than with him.
Unique Suggestions: Don't take the sells in your hotel room. Walk to the river and see that there are a lot of boats you can bargain price. Cutting the asking price in Anything by half. He will take it for sure. If you don't bargain, sorry you will be robbed.
Fun Alternatives: Not deal with Mr Triet Quang.
The guy deals with tourist for years and much experienced in handling things. He has no respect for human being.
As a tourist, one mIght meet such situation once in a life. It is hard not been robbed by him.
Prevention!!! It will save you a lot of headache and regrets.

Did you ever notice that all border towns have a knack for relieving you of your “unwanted” cash before you enter the new kingdom? Well, going from Vietnam to Cambodia is no exception. Though in no way comparable to going from Thailand to Cambodia, it is surprising how this relatively new route from the Mekong to Phnom Penh is now being affected. I guess you can’t blame the small villages that prey on unsuspecting travelers making the journey. You are horded into the only restaurant in the village, hungry and there's not much you can do but have something mediocre to eat at inflated prices. That is not the worst part, though. The kids, most likely the owners’ kids, try and pry the last piece of local currency from your pocket before you leave by selling snacks, beers etc. The worst scam was the kids showing you where the toilets were, for a price of course!
Unique Suggestions: I actually found that if you just paid some attention to them, they didn’t bear any grudges even if you didn’t buy anything. I guess a piggyback ride is the same the world over; kids love them.
