You pay for everything in advance, then you do get it done. Unlike some other vn hospitals I've been in. (some like a horror movie - not kidding)

  • Watch out Mr Triet Quang

Please read tourist trap for detail. The floating market is not so good. The boating trip with Mr Triet Quang is a bizzar. As for a morning boating trip, it is better take 3 hours' tour with somebody else. It is really useless to take 7 or 8 hours' tour.Anyhow watch out Mr Triet if you care for your money. That guy is a scam artist.

It seems the easiest and oddly enough, cheapest way to tour the Mekong Delta is on an organized tour. I spoke with a few intrepid travelers and though they enjoyed their solo sojourns into the region; it was not as easy or cheap as they anticipated. Don’t get me wrong, it was not an expensive area by any means, but the tours are such great value,...

This is the Mekong Delta and anything you can get on dry land, you can find out on the water too. Having a boat in the region is a huge advantage for any industrious local who can afford to buy items he can then sell to those less fortunate (or tourists!) out on the water. Fruits and vegetables seem to predominate the market scene but you can find...

    In a safe place?!

by jolou Updated May 3, 2005

    2 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Since the bird flu scares, a lot of places were'nt serving chicken on menus and during this tour they had cut out the visit to a bird park. Be aware of the risks but don't let it stop you visiting Vietnam (April 05).

Did you ever notice that all border towns have a knack for relieving you of your “unwanted” cash before you enter the new kingdom? Well, going from Vietnam to Cambodia is no exception.
