Bamboo 2 bar

Most long-term foreigners living in Da Nang will go down the road to Hoi An for entertainment and weekend fun.

However, when they opt to stay in town, or when other travelers decide to experience Da Nang, there are only a few night spots. Bamboo 2 bar is one of them.

It is a relatively cozy bar, with copious amounts of graffiti and writing on the walls. The drinks are reasonable (~20,000 for a beer). There is a pool table in the back. They offer a food menu with good quality food at a reasonable price.

Only later in the night when the police stop enforcing the sidewalks, will they let tables and chairs onto the sidewalk. Otherwise, you must sit inside.

Dress Code: The dress code is completely casual.

There are a couple other places in Da Nang to go at night, but this is typically a good starting point. Go here and then ask around if there is any activity in the city at the other venues.

Seventeen Saloon for example is across the river on the Le Duan bridge, then north ~1km on Tran Hung Dao. The prices there are ~x3 more expensive and they play loud techno music.

the best nightlife spot for new years eve, at least one of the best in my life is in hue.
beside the river, with just a dear friend and a barman in a closing bar.... two small stools an even smaller table and a tiger bia to share. Is it midnight? I guess so... so we're in 2002? maybe.....

ho ian, on the riverside, they celebrate the full moon. Light dragons on the water and a storyteller whith his musicians to sing stories.... all is going on just a few steps from there all the tourists gather, but we were the only 'westerners' in the attendance.
