There are many beautiful houses in the Van Phuc Silk Village.
I believe tourism has brought them income to own such beautiful houses.
They are rather colourful too.
I think most houses only paint on the main walls. The side walls are often neglected or to save some paint.

See the old building selling ice cream?
A great contrast with those nicely painted house.
You can see a lot of new houses on the street. Yet there are still some charming old building.
Its a mixture of the old and new buildings.

I was amazed that they could set up a "shop" on the street to repair bicycles or motorbikes.
This "shop" was found near the entrance of the Van Phuc Silk Village.
No rental needed for "shop" space.
