 | Nha Trang Nightlife | Tips 11 - 15 of 15 | | Popular Nightlife | Other Nightlife Tips | All Tips (15) I highly recommend Crazy Kim's Bar! We had a great time there relaxing. A very "Western" feel to the place, and very casual. Kim often frequents the bar, mixing with all her customers. The bar staff are very friendly, many of whom lived on the street until Kim helped them out, and they were more than happy to tell you about their experiences. Kim runs a school during the day for street children (which requires volunteers- so if you are interested go and talk to them about it!) and many of the bar's profits go to her "Hands off the Kids" program to help stop the problem of child paedophelia. We visited Nha Trang around Xmas time, and there was a large Xmas tree with presents underneath for the children..it was a really great bar. One of the street kids- Tony, sat with us and kept playing games with us, he was very cute & afterwards took us to his family who owned a street cart...we visited them the few nights we were there to stock up on our water and have a chat, they were really lovely & only too happy to tell you about their life... order the larger than life cocktails! they are HUGE, i recommend the "Jam Jar"- that was so great! very fruity :) Some of my friends ordered one that came in a huge jug, almost like a watering can, and someone else ordered one that came in a bucket....when we were there they also had 2 for 1 cocktails but im not sure what times this applies to or what days! also- buy a t-shirt for the "Hands off the Kids" program- they are very cute & great for those day trips out on the water :) Theme: Eating and Drinking

This new place is so great! You can come here to play some pool, have exstremely good drinks at good prices, listening to great music and talk to other travelers. This was the single best place of its kind we found in all of Vietnam! As ones said: The drinks are to die for. You simple MUST try their "Bellini" ( a mix of rhum, white wine, frozen peach juice and grenadine) and their "Chocolate Bunny" ( a mix of Bailey, Kahlua and Creme de Cacao). Both cost 45.000 VND. You cannot get it better anywhere else Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Biet Thu Street ( Next to Crazy Kimīs)

The Nha Trang Sailing Club is the best bar in town, where everyone visiting the city meets, especially at night... travellers and vietnamese on holiday. It's a "garden" which incorparates three restaurants (Casa Italia, Taj Mahal and Sandals Restaurant) and a bar/nightclub - Aussie-owned if I am not mistaken. I don't know about the food, but the cocktails are OK, and the fruit juices really good. It is definitely pricey for Vietnam standards, but it has really comfortable armchairs. If you prefer to be "right on the beach", they have some blankets on the sand, around a small lamp - and you can have your drinks there, too. All restaurants and the bar are in the open air.
Casual is fine. Leave a Comment

I was fortunate to experience Vinpearl Island resort when it first opened few months ago back in May. I was in NT back in February this year but the cable car ride was still under construction. This place is like a big amusement park (like a Wonderland back home in Australia) but built on an island separated by sea from Nha Trang. For 5-600,000VND covering the pair of us, it paid for cable car ride, ride pass each and 5 course meal at one of the resorts restaurants. We went on a Thursday night after 7pm and still enjoyed ourselves considerably until they kicked us out at 10pm. Although next time, I recommend to go during the day as you'll have more visitors and more hours to enjoy. After the cable car ride, we reached the ride attractions area greeted by a dude in a stuff animal suit. Further back is a video arcade amusement center build inside a hill with bumper cars, mechanical bull etc. Downstairs to your left and right are the gift shops and amphitheater zone. Keeping walking down towards the sea are the restaurants; use your food pass here for a nice candle-lit seafood dinner. Nearby is a disco nightclub, another stage show and back up the hill to the main rides area. Luckily there are people in mini-transport buses so you won't have to walk for everything. It's a shame all my shots at the resort didn't turn out too well and only got a couple of ride pics as my only source. One particular ride saw my partner and 4 women ran straight for the bathroom to barf out chunder immediatly after it was over. This was whilst I immediately went straight for the hotdog stand to get a Tiger beer. Only in Vietnam can I after a ride then followed by an ice cold beer to water down the excitement. :) All in all, a great night nevertheless.
If you look good, you look good regardless of bad clothing. Just kidding... Just don't wear a suit or your best dress in case you need new underpants or from other peoples barfing. Theme: Family Spot
