I left my heart in Sapa
Of the two and a half weeks I spent in Vietnam, the two nights in Sapa was my favorite. The mountains were breathtaking and I really enjoyed talking to the local tribe people. Like most places in Vietnam, they will try to sell you stuff, but if you are friendly, you will have the opportunity to get to know them.One lady came up to me and my girlfriend while we were sitting on a bench enjoying the view. She asked if we would buy something, we smiled and said "No thank you". She told us she was tired, so she sat down on the bench with us and chatted with us for half an hour. I had the same experience with the kids. One of them, called Zoo, went around with us to some of the smaller villages. Sapa
