It is a revelation to see how these kids are actually taught anything. Blank cement walls and floors (although the one where the photos are taken has tiles) and no heating, only the enthusiasm of the young teachers. We arrived just at the end of play-time and they were exactly the same as kids everywhere, running, jumping, skipping and all the other things kids get up to. We did notice though that some kids are really poorer than others, with one girl just having a blouse to cover herself, while the temperature was around 8/10°C. One thing though, they all seemed happy enough to see us, although a bit wary of the cameras. Stayed for over a half-hour, with our guide translating with the teachers and children.
