This very local street made a strong impression on the first time I was in Hue few years ago. This time coming back, I want to find it and try it again. All sellers used " Den Dau " - Oil Lamp - not neon lamp and the whole street is sparkling with about 30 - 40 oild lamps.
" Banh Canh " is served - This is one kind of noodle with a slice of grilled fish, pork & herb and costs only 1,500vnd.
Now some neon light is used, but still,the oil lamps ,are on the table. Theme: LocalAddress: Behind the citadel.Directions: A small street behind the citadel, you can ask any cyclo or taxi driver for " Pho Den Dau ".

Traditional Vietnamese restaurant which serves great food in clean and traditional surroundings. We had a group meal in one of the private rooms complete with our own band which played traditional music. Staff were friendly and prices reasonable.

The Restaurant is situated in a beautiful garden on the banks of Huong River;as there is always a relatively cool breeze from the river, the outdoor-seating is very convenient and a nice place to watch the sunset .
Although also international food is served, especially the local food, as "Hue Beef Noodle Soup" and many sweetwater-fish are to be recommended. Leave a Comment
