Siva siva, now as in the past, Aoa 1976 by sennaya If you are staying in any village, take the chance to join in any village choir or Sivasiva (dance) performance. Each village has their own choir and dancers and they are quite competitive with other villages. The Siva is a traditional dance, very elegant movements by the women swaying gently and moving their hands. The guys are a littler more active moving outside, sometimes trying to impress the girls. It is all in good fun and a joy to see. The natural voices of a Samoan village choir and the seated arm and dance movements is a delight. Villages also get together for holidays and take turns performing. Theme: Other

by Fotuosamoa Clubs close at 12 midnite. So starting early is the best advise if you wanna have a loooong nite. It's rather fun, coz people tend to go out late(9-10), and by then you'll be hyped(or trashed), and on top of the world (or table). Then, if youre smart, find out where the party's happening from the people outside...OR, if youre still capable of driving (like most people in Apia that drink drunk), buy an extra 12 beers from Matautu shop, (just follow where most of the cars go after the club closes,. ) and drive to Taumeasina Beach. The Police drive there on some nites to boot off drunks but thats part of the fun man... sometimes they leave you alone, or if you can give them 10.00 heheh, opps, this isn't a very healthy tip...aw well, thats the stuff the uninformed tourists dont know!!! If youre a rowdy drinker, try avoiding places like Mount Vaea, RSA, Tropicana coz they'll beat the sh*t out of you if you pick a fight. Second tip: Nitelife on the beach is good., in Upolu and Savaii: drink Vailimas and swim, just dont do it alone, that'll be rather pathetic dont you think? Otherwise, if youre one of those touristy tourists who wanna sit on their plush cushions and sip peniscoladas, theres always the restaurants and the faifia nites at the big hotels. ciao,
presentable, usually LOUD colourful shirt, preferably pants or lavalava without holes in there, anything goes, and jandals....and a Vailima on each hand....now thats a babe magnet...hahah, even faafafine magnet...now watch out for those!!! by crazymeg EyeSpy, I think I went there nearly everynight for three months!!! It is upstairs from Area51 (I am not a fan of Area 51 too sketchy) a block down the street from McDonalds. I also liked Beggars Bar, live music nightly, much more the local after work city crowd, it is next to the Tusitala hotel on BEach road. I also really like the Coast Bar and Grill, it is a little more subdued that the clubs, it is upstairs of the movie theatre on beach road near Sails. Mt. Vaea is also cool, live music but definitely a local place since EyeSpy opened and because it is father from town.
No Sandles at EyeSpy (flip flops) but resonably modern Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Rubbles in Pago - about 10min from the airport this South Pacific bar is home to the islands eclectic assortment of expatriots, upper government officials and business people. A good place to get to know Pago Pago on a Saturday night. WARNING: Stay out of the area of Pago Pago know locally as 'The Darkside'. Found on the eastern side of Pago Pago harbor in the area of the tuna canneries, this zone is known for prostitution, and is generally dangerous. A small collection of 'clubs' characterize this area centered around the 'Fishermans Club'. Visitors are seriously advised to avoid this area. In Apia there are many more nightclubs, but they change frequently so your best bet is to ask a cab driver 'what's hot' tonight - Propieter Tom Drabble, a Kiwi expat has done an excellent job of creating a 'cheers' like atmosphere with a South Pacific setting at Rubbles - this place usually begins getting interesting about 4pm and is rock'en by 10... no dancing - but you'll have a good time! In Apia the general setting of the harbor makes evenings out fun -
Island informal - Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: Just ask any taxi driver. There are no 'street addresses' in the Territory. But from the 'downtown' area Rubbles is about a 25min drive and from the airport maybe 10minutes. The cabs are expensive so

The only place of note I found in Pago Pago was Evie's Cantina, which also has a bar and evolves into a nightclub after 8pm on weekends. Otherwise, I couldn't find anything to do on a night out in Pago. American Samoa has its attractions, but for a good knees-up, stick to Apia in independent Samoa. Theme: Other
