There are several places on Tutuila to find local crafts. Wood carvings, painted tapa (mulberry)cloth designs, Fine mats woven of pandanus and shell jewelry are all made locally. Kava bowl or cermonial staff made of wood, tapa cloth for the wall, and a puka shell necklace .
