Jervis Bay is situated between Sydney and
Canberra but belongs to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The clear waters of Jervis Bay provide ideal conditions for growth of extensive sea grass beds. See for more info and pics in the Jervis Bay travelogue please.
When in Canberra, do visit the embassy quarter. There are some little architectural jewels or statues, totems,...
Especially the Papua New Guinea embassy is fab.
The Blowering Dam is just out of Tumut. It is a great place for camping, fishing, site seeing, swimming, finding native animals etc.
Beechworth. An old Victorian village. It reminds me of the villages in Western United States. Home of Ned Kelly's cell.
I thought the Japanese Gardens in Cowra were really nice...this photo proves it! :) Nice for a visit if you're in that area...
Visit Tumut Dam if you feel like a nice quite time - it's great for water sports, photography, camping, fishing etc...
Takes most people a lot of time to work this photo out... It's actually a long exposure of the stars one night when I was camping at the Tumut Dam... Hope you like it...
