The new Canberra Glassworks is worth a visit. It was open on the 26th of May 2007. The Canberra Glassworks occupied the old Kingston Powerhouse. In the new Canberra Glassworks, the visitors are able to see the glassblowing demonstration. The audience are sitting above looking down at the artist demonstrating the techniques and the artistic flare of glassblowing. The individual artist will explain to the audience of the particular piece being demonstrated. There are gift shop, café and courses for general public.

A visit to the Canberra Theatre is a must for visitors. You will see the history and building of this magnificient town! And the multimedia presentation is excellent throughout. It's a place you will enjoy visiting - not too big and not too small. Budget about 1.5-2 hours. Entrance is free.
