Life in Canberra

by victorwkf

The pace of life is Canberra is very laid back and relaxed. The city is spread out, so there are many suburbs with their own neighbourhood areas, shopping areas etc. Most of the shops close around 5-6pm, except for big supermarkets, restaurants, cafe etc. There are not many public buses and they are not frequent, so the best ways are to either rent a car or take a taxi (you need to call the taxi beforehand). For certain attractions, they are within walking distance to one another.
