  • Hog's Breath Cafe

    3 out of 5 stars

    Canberra Restaurants

Unsatisfying dining experience. Slow service with an emphasis on drinks. Main meal took almost one hour to arrive. Food is OK. Overall hard to recommend, especially as prices are relatively high. Note that the service at the Hog's Breath in Woden is even slower!

  • Rama's Fiji-Indian

    4.5 out of 5 stars

    Canberra Restaurants

Located in a small shopping centre in the southside suburb of Pearce, not far from Woden Town Centre. Ambience is not particularly Indian or Fijian - but it's neat, clean, warm-looking and the management and staff are very friendly and helpful. Service is excellent and you can bring your own drinks - corkage is very reasonable. No matter what...

    Canberra Restaurants

Sammy's restaurant in Civic is always busy as the food is good and the price is reasonable. The vibe is definitely has a quick moving pace. It has the Retro 70 decor. We like the Hawker style noodles. We ordered my favourite dish the Penang style Char Kway Teow, which is rice noodle stir fried with prawns, Chinese sausages, bean sprouts and egg....

Carlo's at Watson - A birthday to forget!. We had won 3 dinners for 2, each to the value of $70 at Carlo's. We were made to feel as if we were 'abusing the system' by having 6 people at one table using 3 separate prize vouchers. We asked if there would be a problem if we sat at 3 tables of 2 and were advised that this would be OK. We subsequently...

  • Central Cafe

    Canberra Restaurants

If you are in Canberra and want a great (all day) breakfast then head out to the Central Cafe in Queanbeyan (you'll need a car - or bus - to get out there though). The breakfasts are HUGE and you will only need one ($11.50) for two people most times... :) The breakfast - bacon, eggs, toast, sausages, chips and tomato...

Every time I am in Canberra I keep going back to this exceptional restaurant. With a modern Australian/ French influence , every dish is sublime. Don´t miss the heavenly bread made on site which is brought around to the tables by the freindly waiters. The seating is plush and comfortable and the decor is elegant and subdue. Prices are very...
