We drove down to Doctors Gully the last morning we were in Darwin to catch the fish feeding. Like many other people who arrived we were a little late but still enjoyed our visit.

The area has a nice section of mangroves growing waterside which were nice to view. The tide was in and the water looked good. Would have been better if we had witnessed the fish feeding. The cost of lingering over the hotel breakfast buffet.

Fish feeding times change with the tides. Essential you check feeding times in local publications, hotel reception or phone Aquascene the day before.

This attraction is feeding the Mullet, Bream, Catfish & Milkfish and any other wild fish that come along. You can get in the Ocean with them, or feed them from the edge. Every day, when its high tide, they come for a free feed. The children probably would love this more than adults. The tides change every day, so does the time of the feeding to coincide with high tide.
    There is an admission charge.

For 2 hours every high tide only a walk from the centre of Darwin, Aquascene has been feeding fish for now 50 years. A great spot to experience something a little different.

    Prices:
    Adults: $7
    Choldren $4

check website or phone for times as they change to match the tides.
