Bondi Markets are amazing and a must do if you are in the area. On every Sunday from 9am to 3pm they have an amazing array of hip and cool clothing, keepsakes, jewellery, paintings and things to buy. The markets are located at the far end of Bondi Beach closer to North Bondi in the local pubic school and boasts about 140 stalls offering everything from second hand kitchenware, CD's, second hand and new clothing. Certainly a bargain or two to be found in amoungst some more expensive market shopping. Hey no one ever claimed shopping in Bondi even at Markets is always cheap! But its a very great atmosphere and easy to shuffle your way in from the beach between swims. I love it... Its one of the great things about living in Bondi I love... I love market shopping so the fact that I can wander down to one of a Sunday afternoon is great!

What to buy: Beach towls, boheme style clothes, cool jewellery. You name it you'll find it here...

What to pay: depends on what you are buying

Westfield Bondi Junction: Shopping Galore

The Westfield Bondi Junction is a huge shopping and entertainment center. There is tons of shopping for men, women, children and for the home. Both typical and upscale stores can be found here such as Coles and Chanel. The Movie Theatre shows the latests flicks and there are plenty of food options from baked good to Chinese food to keep your belly full.

The Westfield is a destination within itself; with so much to see and do it makes you dizzy. It is just like the Pallisades Mall back at home with all it has to offer.

Between the Flags is the typical beachwear store on Bondi Beach. They sell men's, women's and childrens clothing. They also have beach towels and swimwear. The last time we visited Bondi in 2007 I saw a tee shirt I had wanted but didn't buy....instead we bought a pricey beach towel. This trip in 2010 I found a similar shirt and decided to not let this one slip away. It was a green Bondi Beach shirt...yeah it screams tourist but I don't care.

The shirt was $35; not too too bad for a tee shirt but I was happy with the purchase.

What to buy: Swim trunks, bikinis, tee shirts, shorts, sweat shirts, beach towels, beach bags etc.

What to pay: $35 for a tee shirt...so a bit more expensive than average.

There are lots of shops in Bondi beach, offering men's and women's clothes, shoes and bags.

What to buy: There are mostly surf shops, but also some good ones selling more popular brands like Diesel and Lee. (Although Diesel and imported brands are much more expensive over here than they are in Europe!)
