    Luggage and bags: WHEN OUT AND ABOUT: I always carry these neccesary items. You may also find them helpful.
    I carry a small day backpack that carries my camera and lenses (out of sight) plus,
    I also carry with me or wear these neccesary daily items.
    As I usually always travel in hot/tropical climates the items that I carry are usually related to same.
    A small WET face towel in a plastic zyploc bag (for those really hot/humid days

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: A good comfortable pair of walking/hiking shoes/boots.
    A broad brimmed hat for sun protection
    A pair of sunglasses
    A spare pair of reading glasses (can't be without these)

    Toiletries and Medical Supplies: A small tube of strong sunscreen 15 +
    A packet of wet wipes( for cleaning small injuries)
    A small tube of moisturiser.
    A small packet of tissues (in case the roll is empty)
    A tube of lip balm
    A couple of band aid strips and spots.. (just in case)

    Photo Equipment: My digital camera and lenses.
    An international powerpoint adaptor.
    A spare memory card.
    a couple of plastic "zyploc bags"for (wet weather)camera protection

    Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: A compact poncho in case of tropical /electrical storms.
    A small torch (I am never without this)

    Miscellaneous: This may seem to be a lot of toilet items. but, they are light, small, and I carry most on my person.

    Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take some clothes for warm weather during the day but at night it does get cool, in winter at least... Also take good walking boots because you will be sure to do lots of walking...

    Photo Equipment: Take lots of film ready for all those photos. You can buy film in town but it is probably more expensive than buying it elsewhere.
