Favorite thing:
As far back as I can remember, Dubbo has always been a very popular city to visit. For this reason, it is wise to make advance bookings, especially accommodation.
I always thought, because Dubbo has lots of great accommodation places, there is no need to book. 'Wrong' ...
This trip was no different, and I had to overnight in another town nearby, because Dubbo was completely booked out.
Fondest memory:
I don't really have a fondest memory of Dubbo. However, this city is definitely worth a visit, especially if you don't live in Australia.
Favorite thing:
Dubbo area is Sheep and Lamb country, as well as Cattle, cereal cropping including wheat, barley, canola, field peas and lupins as well as citrus and wine grapes. This is what you will see in the paddocks, depending on what time of the year you come here.
