Jamberoo is a fun day out for kids of any age! There are water slides to suit all tastes, a toboggan run, a wave pool, diving platforms and plenty of room to run about...I hardly saw my older kids all day! There are also great picnic and barbeque areas, so you can bring your own lunch, or piles of food outlets if you prefer.
Jamberoo is only open in the warmer months...from September29 till April 26. Tickets cost $29 for a child under 13, $37 for adults, and under 3 year olds are free.

Minnamurra Rainforest is located in the Budderoo National Park. It is a beautiful place to go for a walk and de-stress. It is also great for escaping the heat of an Aussie summer.
We stopped here for a few hours on the way to Jamberoo Water Park (kids day out), but I could easily have spent much more time. It is one of those awe inspiring places. The majesty of the trees is comanding, the sounds of the birds and the trickling water is soothing, and the local wildlife entertaining.
