Queanbeyan Books and Prints, a second-hand book emporium located in the old mill house. It was built in 1883 as the residence for Martin Byrne who built the adjacent flour mill, Byrnes Mill, (now a restaurant) in 1883.

What to buy: Prints and books second hand

What to pay: Not a lot at all!!

Favorite thing: Jerrabomberra is a satellite suburb to the south of Queanbeyan. There are many walking trails and a couple of lake systems teeming with wild birds.

Fondest memory: http://www.whereis.com/whereis/getDirections.do?nref=getDir

Follow the website map to get to Jerrabomberra. Once you get onto Bayside Court, you'll see an oval on your right. There is free parking there. Walk across the road to the little bridge and you'll see a footpath that follows the waters edge. If you follow this footpath, you'll come to a pontoon where you'll usually find someone feeding the wild birds.

All along this trail you can find an amazing variety of wild birds and get pretty close for a photo or two.

Walk further around and you'll come to some open grassed areas where the local cows may be grazing behind a wire fence.

There's a fitness trail here too with a number of aparatus along the way, together with signs on what to do and suggested fitness goals.

Heaps of people walk their dogs around this area too.
