Despite the name the glow worms are actually a fly larve.

Garry Mguire, the guy that does the tour in his yard is very friendly and funny.
you get to see these really close up, and learn all there is to learn about glwoing stuff.

the research centre is also studying glowing fingi and glowing mushrooms, if your lucky you will be able to see a snail that has eaten some fungi and is lit up like a light bulb!!!

Nice little restaurant, very friendly owners,
my fav place to eat at springbrooke.
if you want you can also do the observatory tour, and learn about a lot of stars......
    oooooooorrrrrrrr
if you do go there, i strongly suggest seeing the glow worms!!!! just ask about it there.

Favorite Dish: a chicken YOWIE* burger with cheese, and a side serve of ships.
these burgers are huge. i usually share mine with the driver,
the bread is alwayse baked fresh that day, and it is yummmmmmmmmmmm

*yowie (big foot) is a creature very similar to the abominable snowman or yetti.
the people around here believe they have one in their forrest.
