Lots to See Walking in the City
Favorite thing: When one's walking about the city of Sydney, there is always something that catches your attention.. Shopping at high priced boutiques or high skyscrapers or just simply watching people passing by you.. Walking is perhaps the best way to see the city so plan on spending a few days just walking in the city's popular areas be it the Opera House or the Darling Harbor, there is always to see around Sydney
Fondest memory: Took this picture from George Street, walking about the Darling Harbor general area.. Had a lot of fun!!

Favorite thing: The Sydney Tower experience takes you a staggering 250 metres above Sydney, commanding breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful cities in the world, including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. From the beaches to the mountains, you’ll be amazed at what you can see from the highest point in town.
AMP Tower - Centrepoint
Favorite thing: Far above the maddening crowds, AMP Tower (or Centrepoint, as it is called by locals) has 360 degrees of Sydney's best views. Towering 300m above Sydney, Centrepoint Tower offers magnificent views that extend to the Central Coast to the north, Wollongong to the south and the Blue Mountains to the west. Admission: Adults AUD19.80; children AUD13.20; concession AUD15.85; family AUD55. Open Sunday-Friday 9:00am-10:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-11:30pm. Westfield Centrepoint, 100 Market Street
TIP: don't bother going to the restaurant in Centrepoint - though the views are fantastic, the food is not very good.

AMP Tower - Sydney Harbor
Favorite thing: This tower give you a nice view about Sydney. Good if you visit this place firs time, you can find the nicest places from there. To get high a littlebit expensive, but if you use your international student card, this is not so bad.
Fondest memory: Almost in the middle on the picture you can see the Opera House too. That was my firs time that I saw the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House.

Did you know that the AMP Tower's turret is held in place by 56 cables, each weighting 7 tonnes? The 2239-tonne turret includes a 162 000 litre water-tank that acts as a counter-balance to wind gusts. The picture you see here was taken from the roof of our hotel 'Bernly Private Hotel'.

I was all geared up for my trip to the AMP Tower Centre Point but on arrival was very disappointed to find I was not allowed to. You can imagine how I felt! This was because of the risk of further injury to my already sore and broken shoulder. AMP Tower Centre Point is located near St. James Station. My friend and guide told me that this tour is an awesome experience. The views of Sydney and its surrounds are breathtaking from the tallest observation deck in the Southern Hemisphere. The entrance fee also includes a Sky Tour: The Great Australian Expedition. Take a virtual journey around Australia then see the harbour to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the east, Botany Bay to the south and the Blue Mountains to the west, and everything in between. You can also dine in two revolving restaurants. This can be organised separately. Definitely on my list for a future trip!!!
