    Its best to wear NO Sneakers or thongs at nightime. Clubs are very fussy when it comes to letting people in, the best dressed will always be allowed in first especially to the nightclubs.

    If youre up for a pub crawl, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Paddington, the CBD and all surrounding areas seem to have a corner pub every few blocks ! Set up a map and off you go !

    Very relaxed atmosphere, great place to relax with a drink and talk with friends, reflect on your day, etc. The upper level had live music.

  • Hada fab nite out in here . Get all glammed up if you wanna go cos its quite dressy . The nite i went it was Defected in the House and they were doing a Miami DVD launch so the music was great , they hada live bongo drum player too . the place is all glass, wood and two different levels for dancing and hanging around They also do Hed Kandi nites so if you like this kinda music you will love it

  • ahhhh, The Court House, many a night we stolled out of here at 9am, great spot to get a few late night drinks, but be warned no falling around the place or no access will be gained!! Its a great pub, music is a bit lousy, but who cares as long as your getting served late drinks, right!! Great shop on the cornor that sells some nice pizza, then agian anything is nice after a skinfull of beer!!! You'll meet all sorts of people in here, so keep your eyes pealed!

  • The Establishment is an uber trendy nightspot. I visited here on the advice of hotel staff. The premesis itself is large and spacious, with an eclectic mix of wood and chrome. The patrons too offer something for everyone. There were your grungy student types (definitely not what I expected - maybe it was a quiet night), your chic beautiful types and the obligatory drunken suits throwing too much money around. The drinks are not bad, although the prices are a little steep. My Martini was competently made, but the bar staff tried too hard to over analyse it. You need to go to the bar up the back for cocktails. Music here is a little loud to hold a conversation, but still quieter than other places in Sydney. All in all, not a bad place to start out the night. I'm still not sure exactly what the Establishment is attempting to achieve in terms of ambience, but worth a visit just to say you've been.

    Not entirely sure. Too eclectic to tell. To be safe I'd go with either corporate or glamour.

  • This is the BEST place to see a band in town, especially if you're short! The room is levelled, with the bar, at the back of the room, being at the highest point. So while you're standing in line for your drinks, you can actually see the band! It's not a huge place, which is good meaning you can really see your favourite artist's facial expressions, not just a stick figure 300 metres away! I'd say the crowd capacity is around 500. Plenty of international artists play here, too.

  • The Spanish Club is a three storey old building with a gambling/smoking room on the bottom floor, spanish resteraunt , on the second floor, and a pretty cool nightclub on the top, specialising in salsa and latin dance music - lots of spanish people from sydney come here so you can either practice your dos cervezas, por favor downstairs or you your buenos noches, muchacha hermosa upstairs - really good atmosphere and a wide range of spanish beers and sangria.
