Beaches: Bronte- Less Crouded&More Beautiful Beach
Bronte is a great beach. If you think Bondi and Manly are too popular and crouded, you might find Bronte better. Bronte is located south west of Bondi, and is a beautiful beach. Also I reccommend a walk along Bondi to Bronte. It will take about 2 hours, and you'll see one of the most beautiful sight!

Beaches: explore the Northern Beaches
Catch the Palm Beach bus from Wynard Station. (city)The ride takes about one hour to reach Palm Beach. Walk up to the lighthouse and take in the view of the coastline.OR ask bus driver to let you off to catch ferry to the Basin. A lovely ferry ride across Pittwater and explore the Basin. A small beautiful beach in the National Park. You can camp there for a small fee. No shops...just nature..bushwalks galore but do not wander off paths as its very easy to get lost. Or just have a swim and take in the beauty of Pittwater. Ferries run often.

Beaches: Bondi Beach
Come visit the famous Bondi beach. Filled with sun worshipers, surfers and tourists it's a must see. The beach is beautiful. The water is so blue and the waves are amazing. We spent a great day here on the beach. I took my fist dip in the Pacific Ocean.....boy was it salty. It was a great day of relaxing on the beach with my baby.

Beaches: A natural bath for women
Coogee Beach in Sydney is not the most touristy of beaches and is a nice, easy swimming beach. Regularly serviced by buses and has plenty of eateries in the area. There is a coastal cliff walk (cliff pictured) and at the southern end of the beach a park and ... A really cool natural pool hewn from the rock that is for women bathers only! (Sorry, guys.) It's called McIver's Baths or just the Coogee Women's Baths will get you there. Needless to say, it's salt water, it's sheltered, and a whole range of women use it. Even the odd little coloured anemone has colonised this pool so it'll really get you in touch with nature. There's a short, nice walk to get there with some plantlife to see, but I think accessibility for the disabled might be limited. There used to be a men's bath I think at the north end of the beach, run by an avant-garde masseuse dude in the 1930s, but this ain't there no more... However, anyone can still go and slosh around under the sea-spray in what remains of a "pool" there. That pool is very very natural in that the waves slosh right over the rocks and into it, and there's no signage or changing rooms as at the women's one.

Beaches: Botany Bay - Captain Cook's first landing point
Do not miss the Botany Bay, Captain James Cook's first landing point in Australia! I went there in the evening, and was lucky enough to see the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.

Beaches: Ettalong Beach - Brisbane Waters.
Ettalong is located at the ocean entrance leading into Brisbane waters. The Aboriginal word Ettalong means “Place for Drinking”. It is a desired beach for many Sydneysiders. A new ferry service operates daily scheduled departures from Palm Beach Wharf to Wagstaff and on to Ettalong. The 30 minute ferry ride offers stunning views of Lion Island and Broken Bay. The beach is long and protected with a small village with plenty of cafes available for light refreshments. Take a stroll along the beach and take in the stunning views of Lion Island, Broken Bay and the Hawkesbury River. Weekend markets are held near the beach with over 200 stalls. Beaches: Great Mackeral Beach and Patonga Beach.
Great Mackeral Beach - The Palm Beach ferry stops off at Mackeral Beach. It’s a cute little beach to stroll along, and well worth the effort to stop and explore this quaint beach, until the next ferry arrives to take you back to Palm Beach. Patonga - This little treasure of a beach is neatly tucked away in the National Park. The best way to reach it is by catching the ferry from Palm beach Wharf. Patonga has some great walks, especially the wonderful "Tony Doyle Walking Trail" which leads to a stunning lookout over Broken Bay. At the southern end of the beach, there is a caravan Park with great facilities, with the ocean in front and a tidal inlet with mangroves and mudflats behind. A ferry service to Brooklyn which is a fabulous way to see the Hawkesbury River departs at Patonga Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays at 2.15pm. Saturdays- 11.45am, 2.15pm. Sundays - 11.45am. Lets Eat: There are limited restaurants in Patonga, but there is a general store which sells fab fish and chips. Let’s Sleep: Patonga Beach Caravan and Camping Area - Bay Street Patonga Tel: 02 4379 1287 Catch the L90 Bus from Wynyard and the Palm Beach Ferry to Patonga from Palm Beach Wharf.
