 | | | | Central Sydney Restaurants: The name says it all | Satisfaction: | | | | |
This is one of my favourite places to eat in all of Sydney. Located very close to Central Station, it is just across from my workplace and hence discovered its eclectic range of Good Food by default. It is open early each morning to provide coffee and freshly baked goods (baked on premises) to workers. The breakfast menu is excellent: I love the Bircher Muesli (oats soaked in orange juice with grated green apple, yogurt, honey and strawberries) and the sourdough toast that comes with eggs is the freshest I've had! During the day you can have a range of salads or rolls (again with fresh bread), more baked goods... may i recommend the Brownies (these are very moist with white chocolate pieces which melt in you mouth- totally worth the calories). At dinner time the place transforms into a Thai restaurant with great Thai food. There is plenty of room to sit- big windows, a courtyard with a small fountain, and nice wooden chairs and tables. The toilet is the only hard thing to find (through the curtain, through the garage, up the stairs, round the corner, through the corridor and to the left). p.s. The waiters are also very very attractive. This is a completely professional and honest observation.
The bircher museli for breakfast, any of the salads for lunch, the best brownie ever for snack and pad thai for dinner. | | | | Central Sydney Restaurants: Thai food at World Square, Sydney | Satisfaction: | | | | |
This is a busy restaurant which is situated alongside other restaurants at World Square, in central Sydney. The dish that I had was delicious, and the prices were average prices. There is a large selection of dishes on the menu.
I had the Pineapple Rice with seafood, and a thick and creamy Banana milkshake/thickshake (real banana, not artificially flavoured and coloured). The colour, fragrance and taste of the pineapple rice with seafood was very appetising and wonderful.
