Sydney Tower or the AMP Tower is Sydney's tallest free-standing structure and stands 305 meters above the central business district, along Market Street. You can't miss it when you're in downtown Sydney. The observation deck at 250 metres above ground level; and you can have a 360 degree view of the city and surrounds. There is also a gift shop, two revolving restaurants and a readout displaying data on the conditions of the tower. Tickets include a visit to the Observation Deck at Sydney Tower and admission to OzTrek Ticket Prices Adults AUD24.00 Child (4-15 years) AUD14.00 Under 4 years FREE

Sydney's Centerpoint Tower (now officially called Sydney Tower) is a great place to get an amazing 360 degree view of Sydney and the surrounding areas. It is the highest point in town, sitting 250 metres above the ground. This is a good place to start your trip in Sydney. It is nice to come here to see the city during daylight and to get a different perspective at night. There is also a revolving restaurant (see my restaurant tips). It is open from 9 AM - 10:30 PM daily. Adults can get in for AU$22 and children for $13.20. Seniors/students are charged $15.85.

Sydney Tower

The AMP Tower is where you can get views across Sydney, but they're not as good as you'd like them to be. The main sights such as the Opera House & Harbour Bridge are obscured by other tall buildings. It is nice to see the various inlets of the harbour and there are quite nice views of Darling Harbour, but we were quite disappointed really. There are also no signs providing information of exactly what you are looking at. As part of the experience you get a Sktour, which is a kind of Exhbiition/Presentation thing that gives some info on Australia's heritage. If you've got time this is worth going to, but don't put it at the top of your list.

Sydney Towerpoint

The AMP tower also known as Towerpoint stands 250 metres high overlooking the city of Sydney. It has breathtaking 360 degree views of this beautiful city and suburbs. The spectacular views include the Sydney Opera house and the Harbour Bridge, just to name a few. This is a must for all tourists. At the top of the tower there is also a special show,guided tours, high powered binoculars and a cafe and restaurant.

The Sydney Tower

The Sydney "Sky" Tower is the highest public building in the southern hemisphere. The 360-degree views of the whole of Sydney are simply stunning from the observation level, or the revolving restaurant.

The AMP Tower

The view from the top of the AMP Tower is great. From the Harbour and Ocean to the East to the Western suburbs. From here you can also try to spot the building they used in MI:2 as the Biocyte building. It's also a sight in itself from the ground.
