    One of the largest aquariums in the world. Over 5000 different Australian fish are displayed in their natural habitats. The highlight is a walk 'on the ocean floor' through two floating oceanaria with 145 m (480 ft) of acrylic underwater tunnels.

    Darling Harbour is a great place to see. There are many places to eat and drink. The Chinese Gardens are close buy. Tons of activities.

    Take the monorail around the city for a different perspective. The monorail loop connects the Sydney CBD with the western side of Darling Harbour and the Entertainment Centre at Chinatown and runs about every 5 mins.

    The Metro Monorail works 7:00-22:00 Mon-Wed, 7:00-24:00, Thu-Sat and 8:00-22:00 Sun, every3-5 minutes

    The Chinese Gardens are a nice peaceful escape from the bustle of the city. There are Chinese pavilions, large ornamental carp ponds, statues and trees all enclosed within walls.

    The Chinese province of Guangdong is the sister state to New South Wales and it was their present to the state. province of Guangdong, which is a sister state to New South Wales.

    For $25 adult entry fee, the aquarium really isn't very good value for money. It only takes a couple of hours to get through. I am comparing it to the zoo.
    They have a good seal enclosure, only 4 seals though. Most of it is a little boring unless you are into river systems, which we were so it was okay for us. The best bit is undoubtedly the Open Ocean Oceanarium which sharks and rays and skates and all sorts of goodies.More photos in the travelouge

    Check out the underwatertunnels with nice views on all kinds of fish, like sharks.
    They swim right over your head.

    This aquarium contains the country’s best collection of Australian aquatic animals in a series of recreated environments. There are nearly 5,000 animals to be seen. The highlight of the aquarium has to be a walk on the ocean floor where you pass through two floating oceanaria with 145 metre of acrylic underwater tunnels. This gives you a marvellous view of the sharks, stingrays and many other fish. In a special sanctuary you can see seals both, fur and harbour, above and below water. There is also a Great Barrier Reef exhibit documenting the world’s greatest coral reef.

    ANZAC bridge near Pyrmont (not that far from Darling Harbour) is an interesting looking bridge. Tourists don't flock to this bridge unlike Harbour Bridge .
