lots of snack bars vying for your tourist dollar, as well as plenty of asian specialty shops. paddys markets are also a source of cheap and often nasty bargains.

Seals basking in the afternoon sun

The aquarium in Darling Harbour is a fantastic place to bring kids. They will enjoy everything from the fish to the seals sunbathing in the sun.

Check out the underwatertunnels with nice views on all kinds of fish, like sharks.
They swim right over your head.

This is the perfect place for an evening stroll. There are bars and restaurants, a shopping mall, a casino, a cinema complex, Sydney Aquarium, a concert hall, harbour boat trips and plenty more.

ANZAC bridge near Pyrmont (not that far from Darling Harbour) is an interesting looking bridge. Tourists don't flock to this bridge unlike Harbour Bridge .

    Chines Garden, Sydney

An authentic Chinese garden (designed by the city of Guangdong) it has a tranquility that is quite unexpected considering it is in the middle of a busy cosmopolitan city.

It was a great place to go and people watch - we were there in mid winter, but we still managed to find a place in the outside seating at a cafe (Just like England eh?)

The shark tanks are the best. You walk through a tunnel with the sharks swimming all around you, you can get a good close up view of those teeth!

It's nice to go here to have Chinese Tea. It is a very calm and relaxed spot in Darling Harbour, with the city just outside.
