Fox Studios, Sydney

We were lucky to live right next to Fox Studios for a few months. There's always something going on there. For movie premiere's, famous people and just good old fashioned commercialism you can't go wrong here.

Fox Studios is a great place because everything is in the one place. From cinemas, ice-skating rinks, restaurants to casual eating at a pub to shopping.

They also have a fresh food market every Wednesday and Sundays....which stalls supply alot of organic foods, flowers. On Saturdays and Sundays they have a merchandise market which sells jewellery and homewares. Keeping in mind at these markets stalls are constantly changing.

This is a themepark for the family oriented visit. Especially for those with children. U could experience the TITANIC , see the make up artist transform faces n characters. There are also the HALL OF COOL STUFF where u could see memorabilia from Fox classics such as Independent Days, Planet Of The Apes n Predators.Sets of X-FILES , BABES n ALLY MCBEAL to name a few.

Similar to Movie World on Gold Coast, but better!! Tours of the sound stage, make up/costume, production houses where movies are ACTUALLY being made when you go there (Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor where filming Moulan Rouge) , shows, characters walking about, set of Babe, Simpsons display, heaps of stuff!!
