From up on Potts Point, certain parts provide great views into the setting sun in the west behind the cityscape.

This photo was taken when I was on the way to Taronga Zoo. It was a pleasant ride, it took us about 15 minutes to reach the other side. Sit down, relax and enjoy the view of the city.

In the central part of Sydney there are spectacular views any way you turn. This is a view back to the 'inner harbour' from the promenade leading to Bennelog Point and the Sydney Opera House.

Sydney has many beautiful urban spots, busy streets, nice recreation parks and places, many many bars, restaurants, shops, markets... the olympic games also left some modern nice places.

    The Sydney Tower

by AnnikaW Written Sep 22, 2002
View over the Botanic gardens and Wollomooloo

Go up the Sydney (AMP) Tower as one of the first things you do. That wil give you a good view of the city and you won't feel so lost when you walk the city streets.
