    There are lots of good places to see probably the most recognisable building in the world.

    Some of the most scenic are from the Botanical Gardens, which is a cracking place to sit down and waste away a day just hanging out with a good book.

    Another good place to see it is from up the Tower, which is pretty much a good place to see anywhere in Sydney.

    Best place to see the Opera House though, is from the Ferry to Manley. Think it was about $13 return, for a twnety minute ride each way. Its a great way to go out during the day, and then a great view coming back in the evening, when you get fantastic views of the whole harbour.

    To get a good view of this iconic building in all of it's glory, catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly or Taronga Zoo. As you head off into the harbour, you'll get a close up view to die for.

    We ordered tickets online for an orchestra concert at the Sydney Opera House and had a fantastic time. It's also beautiful at night. We bought cheap tickets in the very front row, and although we couldn't see all of the performers, it still sounded beautiful and we had lots of leg room.

    P.S. Photos are not allowed to be taken inside, but they don't check for cameras and if you don't use the flash they don't see you.... they're also very polite about it and say, "at least you got one, right mate?")
