  • The Lonely Planet Condensed Guide on Sydney says you can spend a whole in Parramatta, 24 km West of Sydney. I think that going to Paramatta is a waste of time, except for the boat trip. Sydney has so much more to offer!

  • The monorail could've been such a good idea. I think it was supposed to go all the way down to Circular Quay, but instead it goes around the most useless parts of town. I suppose it gets you to the Darling Harbour and the Car parks, and to Pitt St Mall, but that's about it. One of the stops has even closed down, as the building it's in is deserted.

    A monorail pub crawl could be good, but I think you could walk it, and save your money for drinks!

    Um, walk?!?! Basically you'd be better off.

  • The monorail. I'm sure it's dangerous and against every health and safety regulation in the book. Imagine being locked in a plastic train and shipped around a smoggy city.

  • if flying out of new zealand you have to go to the airport, of course. but how to get there? you'll find several options. taking the bus might be a good one. it costs you about 8 AUS-dollar. if you prefer to take the more agreeable train you pay about 3.60 dollars to a station very close to the airport, but more than 11 to the airport itself.

    instead of taking the train, take the bus or share a taxi.

    you also can take the ticket to the station next to the airport and do the 15 min. walk from there if you don't have too much luggage.

    Kings Cross- It is the Pits / and there are much better beaches than Bondi(although it's worth a look as long as you go to another beach to compare)

    Not much to see and its not worth to pay so much money....simply waste of time & money

    Buy as a combo ticket...if you must watch this

    Better spend time @ the acquarium rather than here
