Twin Towns Services Club: Choices of many Restaurants

by balhannah Updated Feb 7, 2014

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This Services club is situated in a nice position near the water. We have enjoyed many a good meal here that were cheap and good. Last time we went, we weren't impressed. The cheap meals and had gone, the club had become more upmarket. You still have the choice of quite a few Restaurants, but not the meals that I used to enjoy!

Flame Restaurant and Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Available -wood fired pizzas, pastas, salads, kids' meals, desserts and more.

    Images Coffee Shop
Available -gourmet sandwiches, desserts and hot beverages.

    The Orient
Enjoy Asian food - Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian Cuisine.

    Signatures
Offers a full hot and cold buffet breakfast 7 days a week from 6:30am and a Lobby Bar from 4:30pm daily

    Slice & Fork Restaurant
Is for those of us who enjoy Italian dishes from pastas to pizza, salads and steaks.

    Flame Tree Wok & Grill
More casual with burgers and chips, steaks, salads, pastas and fish, bistro-style meals and Asian dishes.

Check their website for a lot more info. They have a free bus if you need transport to there.

Latitude 28: Latitude 28 - at Point Danger

    Morning tea at Latitude 28

Latitude 28 is a modern looking café and bar located at Point Danger, on the border of QLD and NSW (between Coolangatta and Tweed Heads). It sits just across from the cliff top lookout, which offers fabulous views up to Surfers Paradise.

The day we visited Point Danger was overcast, and after a little while spent enjoying the view it began to rain. This seemed like the perfect excuse for some morning tea, so we dashed across the road to Latitude 28 and managed to nab a table inside out of the rain.

Favorite Dish: Service was very slow and although we weren't in a huge hurry, we were not impressed that people arriving later than us were served first. Oh well, after my Dad complained we were seen to promptly ; )

We all had a coffee, which wasn't bad actually, and just a small sweet treat to tide us over till lunch - a cookie and a friand to share.
