The unusual thing about this restaurant is that it is built on top of a hill and because of it's design it looks like a large boat from a distance.
The views out over the Whitsunday Islands are stunning. There is a large outdoor dining deck that wraps around the building.
The place is licenced and also offers wheelchair access.
Favorite Dish: We only went to this restaurant for afternoon tea. I ordered a flat white coffee and apple pie which was ok. The coffee was a bit strong and I should have ordered half strength.
The Devonshire Teas that my friends had looked scrummy and going by the reports, they tasted alright too.
Cost for the Devonshire Teas was $8 and my order was about the same.

This popular little pie shop was the busiest bakery I had ever seen. People were lined up out the door and down the street! The fact that it was a Sunday and the town was full of sightseers probably had something to do with it.
Inside was very interesting. They had a dine in area and its walls were hung with old photographs of Bowen in the early years.
Favorite Dish: I had a pie with peas. The filling was ok but the pastry was a bit too soft for my liking. Overall it wasn't too bad.
