  • It is always a good idea to wear a hat and carry plenty of drinking water in summer. In summer we get a lot of sudden storms, so it's always a good idea to carry an umbrella, poncho or raincoat, just in case.

    Mosquito repellent and sunscreen are a must for surviving Brisbane in summer. Always remember to reapply your sunscreen after a couple of hours, or after you've been swimming.

  • when travelling in the summer, make sure bring enough shorts-singlets dont forget to pack your thong/flip flop.

    Dont forget your Mosquito repellent and sun block!

  • You will not need a big bag (see below). I stayed 2 months only having packed a medium sized sports bag.

    Light clothing is recommended in general: shorts, t-shirts, sandals and the like. You might also want to take a jumper if you are visting in winter (May, June, July and August for the southern hemisphere!). In late summer (February and March) there is a rainy season, so take a light waterproof jacket. Be sure to take a hat with a brim or a baseball cap, and sunglasses: these items are essential and not just fashion accessories.

    Sunblock, sunblock and sunblock. And maybe some insect repellant.

    lots&lots of mozzie repellant the buggers bite 24hrs

    lots of linen and natural fibres

    dont for get sun screen in Jan 2004 we had 65c it was sooooooooooo hot
