 | Brisbane Restaurants | Tips 31 - 40 of 221 | | Located in Brisbane Forest Park, this restaurant takes full advantage of the surrounding environment with stunning views of the plant life. The meals are usually quite unique and often have an Australian theme such as crocodile and kangaroo meat. A bonus is that a wildlife centre is located right below it, so you can take an interesting and educational tour before or after your meal.
The menu changes all the time, but I would recommend something Australian like crocodile or kangaroo just to try something different. Leave a Comment

The coffee shop is in such a great spot to take in the breathtaking views of Brisbane. You can sit outside on the terrace or stay inside and still not miss any of the great views through the floor to ceiling glass doors. They offer a variety of food and a wide choice of coffees. They are also licensed. There is a gift and souvenir shop also with a good range of Australian gifts and also film, just in case you run out. Open daily : 7.00 until 11.00pm Sunday to Thursday & until midnight on Friday & Saturday Leave a Comment Theme: CoffeehouseAddress: Sir Samuel Griffith Dr, Brisbane Lookout Mt Cootha

This is one of the open restaurants on Queen Street Mall. Some Australians visit these restaurant, drink beer and watch their favorite sports TV shows.
My favorite dish is Satay Chicken in Sizzling Pan. The satay sauce is very tasty and the chicken is tender. There will be a bowl of rice accompanied with the dish. My honey's favorite dish is Spicy Mongolia Lamb in Sizzling Pan. He said the sauce is delicious and the lamb tastes good too! Brisbane has so much to offer. There is so much freedom to explore no matter what your hobby may be. There are beautiful restaurants all over Brisbane which cater to each and every tastebud and there are lovely little cafes to choose from which offer wide varieties of coffees, teas, chocolate drinks of all kinds, cakes and even meals!
One of my personal favourites is Garuva's Tranquility Restaurant as I had mentioned on my Australia Page, however there are so many different and lovely restaurants to choose from .. it all just depends what side of town you are on and how far out you are. Forest Lake has a lovely new restaurant called 'Woodfires' which make lovely pizza's and pasta's but also cater for everyone. They have steaks, chicken dishes, toasted sandwiches .. you name it and they are reasonably priced. Sunnybank has HEAPS of nice Chinese and Japanese Restaurants to choose from. Take your pick .. Milton, Park Road in particular is like walking in a little Italy! There is a replica mini Eiffel Tower in the middle of the road and the street itself is full of Italian Restaurants and Coffee Shops. And needless to say, if you like the European culture, you will love this little street and the people on it who are predominantly European. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Because I worked there, I am going to have to say Il CEntro is the best in Brisbane, it isn't a real restaurant but a coffee shop/lunch room where they do serve excelent first class food. The bread buns are baked fresh every morning, and once you have to be there to get then right of the oven, THE BEST. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: It is located at the river front, and there are many more good restaurants around.
