Like the rest of Australia, Brisbane has a HUGE variety of restaurants and cafes with many choices of tempting Grills, Seafood, Chinese, Indian, Himalayan, Japanese, Turkish, Greek, Thai, Mexican and Italian to drive your taste buds wild! :-)
On average, you must be prepared to pay between A$10 and A$20 for a Main (referred to as an Entrée in USA); A$6 for an Entrée (referred to as an Appertizer in USA) and between A$5 and A$10 for dessert (referred to as DESSERT too in USA). :-)
Some cool restaurants/ cafes that I can recommend are:
1. Casablanca Brasserie
2. Petrie Mansions
If you're on a lean and mean budget, fear not!
Why? Because most food joints here are equally good (read: delicious). There are numerous budget restaurants and food joints located in and around the Chinatown Mall area. Don't forget to check out Brunswick Street Mall, Boundary Street and the delightful - Hargrave Road in the trendy West End.
