I work just round the corner from Pane e Vino and despite many other option in the city it's become the restaurant of choice for work lunches or afterwork meals my wife and friends.
The Italian menu is very reasonably priced and has a good range of salads, pizza's, pasta and mains such as steak and fish. Other than steak or fish most of the mains such as pizza/pasta are well under $20. From lunch until 5.30pm they also offer a range of foccacia sandwiches which are all very tasty and start under $10.
Desserts are also good value, most are $5,90.
I've eated here several times now and the food and service have always been excellent. It always seems to be busy from breakfast through to lunch and dinner which is good sign that people must be going back for more.
Favorite Dish: Chicken Fettucine with Spinach & Mushrooms.
Sticky Date Pudding is also tried and tested
