If you don't have a car you can catch the 385 bus from the corner of Albert and Adeliade Streets in the city and travel out to the Brisbane Forest Park. The bus trip takes about 30 minutes through the suburbs.
When you get to Brisbane Forest Park , have a bite to eat at the Walk about Creek, (it is the restaurant) at the Park. Very nice devonshire teas for morning or afternoon tea or try some of the unusal Australian cuisine.
Take your walking shoes and go for a little trek though the park, and see the native flora and fauna.
