Mount Coot-tha offers panoramic views over the city of Brisbane . There is nice restaurent where you can have a bite to eat at the restaurant or grab an ice cream there on a hot day.

Take a public bus from Brisbane city central bus station to Mount Cootha, where you can get a spectacular view of Brisbane city. There is also a restaurant a the top.

from here u get a wonderful brisbane overview! This place is pretty popular, especially at night (romantic!!! :o) ) , so if u do not like packed places, take a weekday morning to visit!
