    Buderim Ginger is the World's largest processor of sweet ginger. Operating from its head office in Yandina Australia the company services 65% of the world's sweet ginger needs. The factory produces products for bakeries, chocolate coaters, jams, beverage producers, sushi ginger, herb and spice packers, confectionery and dried fruit.

    The tour begin with a short video before moving into an interpretive centre. You are shown how ginger grows and how it is processed in the factory.

    Entry to the Ginger factory is free, however you will pay for the tours.

    One of the best ways to take in the Sunshine Coast is from a Diamond in the Sky motor glider!
    The two-seater craft has a 1.2-litre engine, a 16.5m wing span and a glass bubble canopy. The average gliding speed with the motor off is about 90km/h and the great thing is that it can go closer to the beautiful beaches and mountains than a normal aircraft ever could.

    UnderWater World is located adjacent to Mooloolaba Beach on the Wharf complex, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba. This attraction also offers a combination of exciting wildlife and entertainment for your visit. You can feel your heart pound as you see life through a shark's eye when you walk through the underwater tunnel. This is also the only venue in Australia that lets you dive with huge sharks and sting rays without being a certified diver.

    One of the rules when gliding is that the pilot gives the passenger a flying lesson!!!!!! Once at an altitude of about 1300m, the engine is cut and the glider is powered purely by thermal winds. Trips start at Maroochydore Airport and go north-west to Cooroy, then east to Noosa and then south along the coastline where you get a bird's-eye view of Alexandria Bay and the strip's famous beaches — Sunshine, Sunrise, Peregian and Coolum — and sometimes dolphins or whales.

    A one-hour trip costs approx. AUS$195.00. Bookings are essential, and they operate year round, seven days a week (weather permitting) out of Maroochydore Airport. Gift vouchers are available.
    Special requests such as a flight to the Glasshouse Mountains, Fraser Island or anywhere in the general vicinity are made only if the flight is requested by the passenger.
