Coomba Waterfalls are located at Maidenwell, which is a town located in the Bunyas. A short drive will take you to the falls. The short walk to the falls, takes you through a large area of Australian grass trees. When we were there, there wasn't any water going over, but there still was a nice pool, with mown grass and picnic tables. People were abseiling on the small cliff by the falls. You could see where the water has raged over the falls and down the creek at some stage.
To get there, the turnoff is in the centre of Maidenwell. Look for the Brown coloured tourist sign.
