The champagne pools are great fun and a grate way to cool down on a hot day but i did see some people get cut up pretty badly by big waves coming is and washing them against the rocks.

Dont walk anywhere alone at night on Fraser Island or the Dingos may have you for a midnight snack. We saw a couple while we were there. Apparently they are quite abundant on the Island.

They are all around the island - the dingos. They look sweet but do not feed them as they may attack you!

The area around Fraser Island is well know for the large numbers of sharks that congregate there.

If you fancy a swim, the lakes are the place for it.

Only drive on the beach 2 hours before and 2 hours after low tide. Over 7 cars a week recieve a free wash each week in the off peak season, In peak travel times 7 per day is not uncommon
